| This is an appeal by Robinson Jebane Sebastiampillai from a decision of a Citizenship judge dated February 7th, 1997. |
| The Citizenship judge denied the Appellant his citizenship pursuant to Section 5(1)(e) of the Citizenship Act. |
| The appeal is a trial de novo. |
| At the hearing before me, the Appellant was asked a number of questions, some of which he was able to answer, some of which he was unable to answer. |
| Nevertheless, after listening to the witness, I believe that the Appellant will make a good citizen of Canada and therefore I recommend that he be granted Canadian citizenship. |
